La Floresta Corporation is a family-owned construction company based in Port St. Lucie, Florida. We are here to serve you in all of your home building needs. Founded by Orlando Vela and Adriana Gomez in 2002, we have almost two decades of building experience in Florida and several years of previous experience abroad in Colombia.
We have been serving the Treasure Coast for over seventeen years, available to work on both residential and commercial construction. Our company focuses on custom and spec homes, always welcoming our customer’s involvement and input. At La Floresta, we pride ourselves in our range of work, comfortable with both modern and traditional architecture, while always using high-quality material and focusing on the customer.

Adriana Gomez
Co-Founder & Vice President
Born in Socorro, Colombia, Adriana studied Psychology at La Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota. She worked for several years in Colombia as a psychologist. After several years of work as a psychologist, she moved to the United States with her family and husband, Orlando Vela, where they founded la Floresta Corporation. She is currently the Vice President at La Floresta Corporation.
Orlando Vela
Co-Founder & President
Born in Bogota, Colombia, Orlando studied Civil Engineering at La Escuela Colombiana de Ingenieria in Bogota. He began his professional career there, where he managed the development of several projects including office buildings, hotels, residential buildings, etc. Orlando moved to the United States with his family in 2000 where he and his wife, Adriana Gomez, founded La Floresta Corporation. He is currently the President and project developer of La Floresta Corporation.
